“Start Here: How to Nonprofit” is a program designed with the emerging nonprofit leaders in mind: we want the participants to walk away with a profound understanding of all the necessary steps to create a sustainable nonprofit organization.
You will benefit from a comprehensive overview of the nonprofit sector, including how to effectively analyze your market, develop impactful programs, build robust social and human capital, and secure financial resources, thus ensuring the long-term sustainability of your organization.
Additionally, through optional homework, personalized feedback, and continuous follow-up, we make sure the learning sticks and you bring your nonprofit vision to life.
The program:
The program consists of two online training sessions, homework assignments and templates that will help you immediately apply the knowledge to your own organization or project.
Session 1: Strategic Foundations & Program Development

Session 2: Building a Sustainable Organization

Social Capital
Leveraging networks and relationships to support your nonprofit’s mission.
Engaging stakeholders, partners, and the community long-term.
Financial Capital
Exploring funding opportunities and creating a sustainable financial model.
Sustainability
Long-term planning for financial health and organizational sustainability.
The sessions will take place via Zoom. All participants will receive a certificate of attendance, and those who complete the homework receive certificates of completion.
